My Little Box March 2015 Edition / The Super Box Review

My Little Super Box March Edition Review

I can’t keep up with how quickly the months are flying by at the moment and it seems crazy to be writing my third My Little Box post of the year already!

March’s edition is called ‘My Little Super Box’, a theme which had been teased on their Instagram and Facebook pages but really didn’t give anything away regarding it’s contents.

The first lifestyle item is a sheet of stickers, all superhero themed. I think you are supposed to use them for your laptop or phone. However as cute as they are and whilst I do love my comic book capers, I kind of feel like a 10 year old getting freebie stickers in a magazine. They are not something I’d pay for.

Next up is a soft grey t-shirt from the french brand Gat Rimon with the slogan ‘I believe I can fly’. It’s nice and soft, but in ‘One Size’ which unfortunately is too big for me because I’m short petite and not blessed in the boob area. However I’m putting it to use as a nightie – even superheroes have to sleep (I think?!).

On to the beauty products.

Lait Cristal lightweight conditioner by Kerastase. I was pleased to find a hair product included, mostly because I’ve just finished my last conditioner so this came in the nick of time! It promises to leave hair looking luminous, soft and supple thanks to positively charged Polymers. (It always makes me chuckle when companies use super scientific explanations to sell their products, or throw in something that sounds really expensive like caviar or liquid gold!).

Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream (full size). This promises to combat signs of fatigue and ageing while you are resting. Most of my beauty budget goes on face creams and I’m always on the lookout for a good anti ageing one, so I’ll report back on how this one fares.

My Little Beauty Lip Nourishing Stick. This has a lovely sweet vanilla smell and a buttery texture. I’ve used it a few times now and it does what it says on the tin – hydrates and nourishes.

In every box is a copy of the latest My Little World magazine. I always enjoy flicking through these and they seem to be written with bloggers in mind. This month I was pleased to see that one of my favourite ‘big’ bloggers Carrie from Wish Wish Wish is featured.

So the box is a bit of a mixed bag this month. Usually I really love the lifestyle items, but this month the standouts for me are the beauty items.

Now all that’s left to do is to wonder what the theme of next month’s box will be….?

Do you subscribe to any beauty boxes? Is there one that stands out for you?

My Little Box is a monthly subscription and is £14.95 a month (£11 + £3.95 p&p).
