On Saturday morning the postman arrived just as I was heading out the door. It was a parcel from Paris. I promptly went back into the house to unwrap this month’s My Little Box!
They had been posting teasers on Instagram and Facebook so I knew that this month the theme was a collaboration with Fleur De Force, a very successful fashion and beauty blogger.
This month the box has a definite festive feel to it, starting with this month’s print and magazine:
I must admit that I don’t usually read all of the magazines (I kind of flick through then toss them aside in my excitement to open the goodies!) but this month I was interested to read the article on Fleur and there are some ‘how to guides’ for some of the prettiest gift wrapping I’ve seen.
Tying into this theme, you get a selection of gift tags, festive printed masking tape and decorative string.
Next up is the makeup, which comes in yet another adorable drawstring bag. (Seriously I need to work out what to do with these – they are too nice to put away!).
I was pleased to discover more L’occitane in this month’s box – this time a face cream. I’m a bit obsessed with face creams so I’m excited to try this one.
For the body, Cowshed Wild Cow lotion. It smells so good – I love essential oils and this contains lemongrass, plus ginger and shea butter.
The third beauty item is a rouge lipstick from My Little Box’s own range. When I first saw the colour I panicked a little, but it glides on and is sheer, so you get a lovely impression of the colour rather than block colour. It’s much more wearable than I thought it would be.
The fashion item this month is a soft knit headband with a hint of sparkle in the thread running through it. Initially skeptical, I put it on and it was just so cosy. One to wear on the frostier days to keep your ears warm in style!
So to round up this months contents, we got:
This is my favourite box yet – I will use every single item in there. Well done Fleur I’m impressed!
One cosy haired blogger signing off 🙂 xoxo
