My Little Box November Edition – ‘The Cosy Box’

The November ‘My Little Box’ finally arrived – hooray! This month the theme is ‘cosy’. If you have read my earlier post on My Little Box (link HERE), you’ll know that I avoided all spoilers for this month’s contents which really amped up the anticipation – I LOVE surprises!

Warning – the following post contains spoilers, so if you don’t want to know what’s in the November box yet, maybe have a little look through some of my other posts instead!

First up is a little espresso cup which asks ‘How is your day gonna be?’ on the back. Now I don’t drink coffee or tea (I know, I’m a freak) but this is just too cute to languish at the back of the cupboard, so it will be sitting pretty in my kitchen display.

Maybe I’ll make myself a mini hot chocolate every once in a while…I
suppose this way I can rationalise that it contains 50% less calories – win win!!

Next up is a gorgeous little package. I wasn’t entirely sure what it was at first, but after unwrapping a little note explains that it is a ‘petite bouillotte’ – a little cushion to heat in the microwave. At this point I knew I was officially in love with this box!

Next up, another little drawstring bag. I’ll have quite the collection of these soon – I’m trying to think of the best use for them as it seems a shame to waste them – any suggestions?

…in the bag are this month’s beauty products:

  1. Yves Rocher eyeshadow ‘112 Brun Cafe Mat’
  2. My Little Beauty mascara
  3. Arancil Star Liner – waterproof eyeliner in ‘Noir’

I was really pleased with the eyeshadow colour I received as there were 3 available. I also noticed on Instragram that some people received a nail polish instead of the eyeshadow. I guess that this is because you fill in a questionnaire when you subscribe that I think helps them to tailor certain items in the box.

I used the eyeshadow and liner last night for the first time and was really impressed – the eyeshadow was perfect for a smokey eye look and the liner glided on and was easy to apply.

The only downside is that I can’t use or review the mascara as I wear false eyelashes… one of my friends will be receiving a little gift this week!

Sookie, of course ‘cosied’ up to the ribbon and made it clear that I’m not getting it back.

So there you have it, the November box. Well worth the wait and just what was needed with all this dreary rainy weather. Now where’s that mug… I feel the need for some hot chocolate!

Have you signed up to My Little Box? Let me know what you think of it so far… or whether you’re tempted to give it a go!
